This wooden biscuit box assortment by Bigjigs is almost as sweet as real biscuits. It makes the perfect addition to any toy kitchen or toy tea set table. It comes with a familiar mix of different family favorite biscuits.
Wooden Biscuit Box Assortment Design
Coming from Bigjigs I knew before this even arrived it would be of great quality. The wood used is strong and the paintwork on the box is fantastic. The lid is a rectangular shape and lifts off of the base and then simply sits on top of it when closed. Inside the box is divided into nine different sections of varying sizes. Inside of these sections are two of each type of biscuit included in the set. The nine types of biscuit are as follows:
- Oreo biscuits
- Pink wafers
- Chocolate chip cookies
- Jammy dodgers
- Gingerbread men
- Custard creams
- Chocolate hearts
- Chocolate Bourbons
- Frosted rings
Each of the biscuits looks and feels well made. Attention to details has been paid in every respect with key decorations and layers used to make the biscuits look almost like their real counterparts. In fact, they are so good, they are too hard to resist.
Using them in play
My son has a toy kitchen setup and even has some tea cups and such, so for him, this wooden biscuit assortment box makes role play times even more fun. We will sit and he ‘pass around’ the biscuits and ask me to pick one and of course eat it. Obviously, you can’t eat them and my little boy knows this, but he does love role play so I have to at least pretend they taste nice and well if they were real they would be nice.
The wooden biscuit box assortment set is also a great way for me to teach my little boy about food, in particular biscuits and the different types. He enjoys this learning and even tells me about each one.
Overall
This wooden biscuit assortment box by Bigjigs is fantastic. So fantastic I just can’t fault it at all. It’s well made and really looks the part. The box is brilliant while the biscuits themselves look good enough to eat.
