If you’re reading this you have most likely stumbled across the Play X Store wireless Bluetooth earphones on a site like Amazon and want to know more about them, well you’re in look because I’m about to tell you much more.
With companies like Apple and Motorola ditching the headphones socket in their flagship devices, it’s no wonder we are starting to see traditional wired earphones being slowly forgotten about in favor for the more modern wireless ones. While the offering from Apple in the Bluetooth earphones department may be expensive, there are plenty of cheaper Bluetooth earphones on the market, such as the Play X Stores wireless Bluetooth earphones I am writing about in this review.

Play X Store wireless Bluetooth earphones design and battery life
I’m a huge fan of the design of the Play Store X wireless Bluetooth earphones for various reasons. The first thing I like is the Apple-like design of the earpieces. That’s right the earpieces are very similar to the recent generation of Apple earphone earpieces, which means they have a channel that sits on the edge of each earpiece and a smaller one that faces directly into the eardrum. This does, however, mean the design isn’t original, due to the obvious copycat technique going on here, but to be honest I couldn’t care less because they are actually very comfortable in the ear.
Then there’s the remote box which is a lovely size and very easy to use as it dangles in a visible and easy to reach area just below the chin. There are three buttons on this remote box, a microphone and a microUSB port for charging the built-in battery. The buttons on this box are nice and responsive and each one does its job quite well.
I’m not a fan of the tube style cabling used as opposed to the more durable and much better looking flat style cable that most earphones come with nowadays. The reason I prefer the flat style cable is that it just doesn’t tangle at all, whereas these earphones have tangled a few times for me. Luckily there’s a carry pouch included that can minimize this risk, but if like me you forget these small things, you’ll end up using your pockets and that just leads to a tangled mess.
The built-in battery is quite good. It provides up to 8 hours from a single charge, of course getting the full 8 hours would mean listening to music on extremely low volume, however, at their loudest, I have managed between 6 and 7 hours so no problems there at all. This is around the norm for most Bluetooth earphones.
Play X Store wireless Bluetooth earphones setup and signal reliability
The initial setup for the Play X Store wireless earphones was quite easy and didn’t consume much time at all. Within 30 seconds the earphones were successfully first time paired with my phone and ready to go. I have also checked the manual and I am happy to say it clearly shows you how to do the process, so if it’s something you’ve never done before, you’re in good hands.
I have had no trouble at all when it comes to the signal strength and reliability. As long as my phone and the earphones are kept within 10 meters (The typical working range for this sort of equipment) of each other, there are no problems at all.
Play X Store wireless Bluetooth earphones audio and microphone quality
I can happily say the audio quality of these is far better than I ever expected. I would go as far as saying that these produce the best audio of any of the low price headsets I have ever used. I have been able to hear each beat clearly as well as each of the lyrics to all of my favorite songs stored on my phone. I also love the amount of bass these pack for such a small set of earphones, which is actually just the right level for personal listening.
The microphone also works really well and in general use such as phone calls and Skype calls I have had no problems at all. The microphone has no issues picking up my voice and being part iof the delivery process to the person I am talking to.
The Play X Store wireless Bluetooth earphones are without a doubt a decent pair of wireless earphones, that I would easily recommend. I’m a huge fan of the design, with exception to the choice of tube cable over flat cable of course. The audio produced is fantastic and the microphone works really well. If it weren’t for that cable these would be 100%b perfect for me, but hey 99% perfect ain’t bad at all. I can assure you these have become my daily earphones.
