Snugg Cross Shoulder Messenger Style Laptop Bag Review

With so much technology in today’s ever-evolving world, it can become hard to carry around all the essential items we may need on a day-to-day basis, for example, you may need to carry around a laptop, a charger, your tablet, a smartphone and more chargers, all this is far too much to fit in a normal backpack or bag, so you need something that can fit it all with ease and that’s where a bag like this one from Snugg comes in handy.

Design:

This bag is available in many different colours and two different sizes of 15.6 inch and 17 inches, I have the 17-inch bag in the colour of black. You will need to pick the right bag if your laptop is bigger than 15.6 as anything bigger won’t fit, however if your laptop is 15.6 or smaller it will fit in the in 17-inch bag. The lining of the bag is red.

The outside of the bag is visually pleasing and very smart in appearance. It’s constructed of a high-quality PU leather that has a wonderful texture and is very easy to wipe clean. The only downside of this PU leather is that it can scratch and mark very easily if not handled with 100% care.

The front flap of the bag has the Snugg branding etched into it as well as a small exterior zip up pocket. The flap is secured by two large clips that are unclipped with finger pressure, when closed they keep the front flap securely down. On the back of the bag is a large non-zip up pouch pocket that is perfect for storing things like notepads and paperwork in.

On each side of the exterior are two equal sized and shaped zip up pockets that are perfect for storing phones and other small bits and bobs.

Once the front flap is lifted you are greeted by two large zip up pockets, the first pocket has several different sized slots inside it suitable for pens and cables as well as a fishnet style pocket that is suitable for large power bricks for the likes of laptop chargers.

The final large pocket is the main pocket, it has a large soft velvet like material lined laptop pocket that can hold laptops up to 17 inches in size, two separate pockets for tablets up to 10 inches and two fishnet styled pocket for other bits and bobs.

There are two methods to carry this bag, one is a handle sewn onto the top of the front flap and the other is a detachable shoulder strap. Holding the bag both ways is easy, but I prefer to use the shoulder strap and only use the handle to lift and put the bag down.

In use:

I used to use a rucksack to carry my tablets and laptop about, but it was pretty much all squeezed in with barely any room for movement in the bag, this bag, however, has literally changed everything about how I transport this stuff around. I use it to carry around two seven-inch tablets, a 15.6-inch laptop, several different cables, a wireless mouse, my phone, paperwork and stationary. Even with all this stuff in it’s easy to carry as well as very comfortable.

Overall:

This is a fantastic bag that has room for most of the technology and bits and bobs you may have to carry around on a day-to-day basis. It looks good in black with red as a lining. It’s comfortable to use and is practically flawless.
