Introduction:
Welcome to my review of the Mdesign toilet roll stand. If you have ever been in the unfortunate predicament of having no toilet roll in your bathroom and not realizing until it’s too late, then this may be a good product for you. Rather than storing spare toilet rolls in a bedroom cupboard you can now store them in the bathroom in this.
Design and quality:
In terms of design, this is quite a stunning looking product, that will sit well in many bathrooms. It has a tower shape so it stands upright. It has been designed to hold three rolls and is even wide enough to hold mega wide rolls as well.
This is made from stainless steel which is a great material to prevent rust, which of course is a natural occurrence to metals in wet areas. Unfortunately, I will have to keep my eye on this as I have had many ‘stainless steel’ bathroom pieces rust, even when I have made sure to look after them properly. I’m not saying this will, but if it does I will update this review.
As it stands at the moment the toilet roll stand is nice and shiny with its brilliant Chrome coloring that covers the whole product. Even with toilet rolls inside it, it still looks very nice.
The build quality is very good. The stand looks and feels really well made. Even squeezing the bars running around the holder reveals no concerns, they are quite tight and hardly flex at all when pressure is applied with the fingers.
In use:
Unfortunately, I don’t have any mega rolls of toilet paper, so I am using normal sized rolls, which fit nicely in the middle of the holder and as promised the holder holds up to three rolls at a time, which means there’s no excuse for me to find myself in that unfortunate no toilet roll in the bathroom situation. There’s not much more I can really say, other than it holds the roll and looks good.
Overall:
I like this toilet roll holder quite a lot. I do have concerns about the stainless steel claim and whether or not this will last, but that’s just based off of my experience with other stainless steel bathroom products.
