Littleducking Poppy Earrings And Necklace Set Review: A Stylish And Fitting Tribute Peice

Welcome to my Littleduckling Poppy Earrings and Necklace Set review. This is an affordable set of jewelry that consists of two poppy shaped earrings and a poppy shaped necklace/pendant set.

Design and build quality:

The main design theme of this set is, of course, poppies. Poppies are the flowers that we associate with the remembrance of our brave men and women who have lost their lives fighting for their country in wars. This jewelry set really is a fantastic way to show your support, not just for our lost men and women, but for the ones who are out there right now, the ones who are preparing to go out right now and even their families.

The poppy on the pendant is the largest in the set, while the two earrings are both the same size, which is about the same size as the tip of my little finger. Each of the three poppies has small red colored crystals inside it, as well as a bigger diamond-like stone in the center. This makes the set looks really gorgeous. I wasn’t expecting them to be this nice, considering the whole set only costs £7.99 at the time of this review.

The chain is thick and sturdy and even comes with an extender for people who may find the normal chain too small. It has a simple to use O-clip that allows you to open and close the clip

The metal used in the set is all gold-plated, although I, unfortunately, can’t find any useful information on the listing that says what type of materials have been used. This is a downside as the listing isn’t very transparent. Even simple things like the total chain length are missing.

In use:

Since this set has been designed with women in my mind I have given it to my partner to use and she loves it.The set looks gorgeous on her and as she has a loved one in the army, it really is something she cherishes. The chain fits around her neck quite well and the earrings sit in her ears well. Talking of the earrings they use  a simple circular clip to stay securely in the ears. My partner has worn these a few times but is saving them mainly for remembrance day as it is something we participate in every year.

Overall:

This is a gorgeous set, that really does capture the theme of remembrance. The build quality is decent although I do find it disappointing that such information like materials used and chain length are missing from the listing.
