The title of this article may sound confusing at first, but it will be a lot easier to understand if I just say that Archos, the French mobile phone manufacturer has recently unveiled its newest addition, an electric scooter that is also an Android phone on wheels.
Listed below are bestselling Archos Citee Connect which satisfy both affordability and quality.
The Archos Citee Connect looks almost like any other typical electrical scooter. It has two wheels, a motor and a place to put your feet and hands. The biggest difference though lies in the center of the handlebars and is a 5-inch touchscreen display. It’s basically an Android-powered device with a Quad core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of flash memory. It comes running Android Oreo out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the Citee Connect comes with 3G and GPS.
Archos hasn’t yet said what the touchscreen display can be used for, but in the press photos it’s shown using Google Maps, so clearly finding your way around town, won’t be so hard. Given that this an Android-powered scooter with 3G connectivity, there will probably be a lot more you can do, just don’t try watching your favorite T.V shows as you scoot through a city center.
If you’re looking for a speedy commute, you’ll be happy to know that Archos claims the Archos Citee Connect can reach speeds of up to 13mph. It’s also pretty light, weighing in at only 26lbs and it can be folded up, which means it won’t be too hard to carry it around when getting on and off public transport.
The Archos Citee Connect is going to be officially launched at Mobile World Congress next week, so be sure to stay tuned for more information.
