Introduction:
Welcome to my Ohuhu 4M Agility Ladder Speed Ladder review. In sports such as football or rugby, agility is a key skill to have. Agility is speed and speed is important, but control is also important. The idea of this is to not only teach us agility but also how to control ourselves at the same time.
Design:
The name agility ladder is very appropriate as this does look a lot like a typical ladder, the only difference is you don’t climb up, you run, jump and skip through it. It has eight rungs. Each one is made of a bendable but tough plastic and is approximately 5mm thick. Since the rungs are made of plastic they are very easy to clean. The distance between each rung isn’t fixed, which means the distance can be adjusted to suit many different exercises. Each of the straps feels quite tough and at each end are some clips so you can clip more agility ladders to this if required.
The overall build quality feels quite good, although you can tell this isn’t a professional ladder. Given the price and materials used, though, it’s obvious this does sit at the bottom of the ladder in terms of specification and build quality.
There is also a very handy drawstring bag to keep it stored in when not in use or safe in while travelling.
In use:
I don’t play football as I’m not a fan of it, but I do a lot of exercising and running so this is still a very good tool in my stay fit kit. I have used it a few times now and have found it to be a lot of fun and very effective. I have done many different things such as jumping and skipping with one leg. There’s so much you can do with this.
Overall:
This is a well-made agility ladder. I love that the rungs can be adjusted to suit many different exercises. The build quality is good and the ladder is very easy to use.
