I have reviewed many different Bluetooth earphones and have found the good, the bad and the ugly, but one thing I have never found is something that is truly unique, until now, while these are very much like normal Bluetooth earphones, they have a feature I have never seen before and that is a full LED light up cable that reacts to the beat of music, movement and breathing. This is practically a one person disco set. These are the Shine Bluetooth earphones.
Listed below are bestselling Shine Bluetooth Earphones which satisfy both affordability and quality.
Design:
So as mentioned above these earphones have a unique LED light up cable that runs between both the left and right earpiece, this cable is what makes these different to the competitors out there. When you turn the earphones on with no device connected the cable will flash red and blue, but as soon as you get some music going the light begins to flash to the beat of the music. You can actually set the light to off, beat to the music, sync with your movements or synced to both music and movement at the same time. This is a rather cool feature and I really enjoy it, although I don’t think it will be long before the novelty wears off as it is not 100% possible to see the cable flashing when you wear it. So again while I love it, it does seem a little bit pointless, but hey, at least, they have this feature.
Also built into these earphones and something I have also never seen before in earphones is a range of different sensors for measuring movement and counting steps. These sensors are, a G-sensor, a 3 Axis gyroscope and a step counter. This technology works with together with a companion application available on the Play Store and the App Store. Using the technology in the earphones the application is able to track you as you exercise.
The earpieces themselves are large almost rectangular shapes. The right one has all of the buttons used to power the earphones and control the music as well as a button for choosing the light mode for the cable. Also, present on the right earpiece is a MicroUSB port for charging the earphones, this port is covered by a rubber flap that keeps liquid away from the port. The last thing to mention on the right-hand earpiece is the built-in microphone for hands-free calls. The left-hand earpiece is bare of any buttons or ports. The tips of the earpieces are angled slightly so they sit easily in the ears. You get three sets of silicone tips, all of which are different sizes, make sure you use the best size for the best comfort for your ears.
Talking of comfort, I have found these to be very comfortable for me. They stay in my ears with no issues at all, even while running.
Setup:
Setting these up with my phone was a very easy job that took less than 30 seconds as I am used to doing this sort of thing. If however you don’t know what to do, the instruction manual has a clear set of instructions on how to do it.
Battery:
The battery in these earphones is capable of providing up to 5 to 6 hours of music playback. This means you will get five to 6 hours dependant on several factors such as volume and light settings. I found that with lower volume and a breathing in and out light setting I was able to get about 5 hours of playback from this set.
Audio quality:
In terms of audio, I have no complaints. It’s clear and crisp, while bass is presented at a level that is comfortable enough for close-up listening. I have tested these with my genres of music and have found them to work well with all of the ones I tested, including pop, rock, r ‘n’ b, soul and many more. I was also pleased with how well these managed to pick up every note and lyric with ease.
The built-in microphone is also fantastic and during my test calls, it was found to be clear and concise.
Overall:
A stunning set of sports earphones, that brings two unique features to its market, the light up cable and the tracking sensors used, which really help these earphones feel sporty.
